More figure drawings and Chinese paintings

Another week of figure drawing, still didn't feel warmed up. I find myself having hard time concentrating while drawing the figure...Maybe a vacation would help:)














So I did get the job but I don't get to teach till next spring, well, that would give me enough time to prepare...and more time for people to sign up for the class.

Something new

Just trying something different...This is one of the samples I am doing for a job opportunity.

HOT!!!!

I found some class work from a couple of semesters ago. I remember getting really frustrated about my inking and compositions... :p. Well I still do now because comics is a lot more diffcult than many people thought.










Another week of figure drawing. We did not have much time for gesture drawings so everybody jumped right into 10 minutes drawings. I felt kind of rushed.

Lately I have been focusing on my own comic while finally getting one job done which I had been working on since the begining of this year. It is a adoreble book of poems for kids.






One of the drawings I did as a gift for friends at Heroes con. Now everybody wants to be a pirate, blame it on the movie.

HERO'S REPORT

So...I am finally updating my report on HERO'S comic convention. This is the 2nd day of the 3 day convention, it is also the busiest day. We began to see some dress-ups today, some of them are really impressive:) Others could be brutal to see. Here are some pictures taken since Friday.

First thing I noticed about north carolina, the gas price. You figure it.

People are nice almost everywhere, big contrast to Philly and Delaware. I also have never before seen such wonderful sense of style.

Geek boy press extended their dark force from Philly Wizard to North Carolina Hero, and still cool as hell.



The script editor from O.C.T, a new book coming up to the store soon. It is a detective-sci-fi type story. The main character is base on the actual figure of actress Rosario Dawson.




I was suprised not to see any king-kong size body guards surrouding Dawson. I liked her performance in "Sin City' a lot.




After the 1st day of con, we dinned in a soul food restarunt. It is good, especially the corn bread.

I had been waiting to see some dress-ups, they are like roaches all over the place but hard to locate:)



The best "no face" character , it comes like a ghost and goes like wind... well it was suppose to be at least.



That's where I lost myself;-p



Dinner was a kind of a big thing at the end of the day, nobody wants to be missed out, not even a 9 month old baby.



Tomorrow is the last day then we will head back to Philly on Monday. Shzam and Buster are waiting to be picked up at the vet. I miss my catst too (:-<
