Odd Nerdrum Loses Appeal Of Conviction

Source of photo unknown, credit welcome.

International Artist Odd Nerdrum lost his appeal of his conviction for Tax Evasion.  Today, June 27th, in a surprise move, the Norwegian appeal court tacked on 10 more months to his original sentence of two years. The court also forbids him to paint while serving his sentence because it's considered to be "commercial".

Interview of Odd Nerdrum

For close to two decades, Odd Nerdrum has opened up his studio to artist from all over the world  to study with him at NO COST.  He has generously provided Mater Classes and lectures to art schools around the world, FREE to the schools and students.  I haven't seen anyone quite as generous as Odd is with his time and creativity...

Gone painting...

Folks, I'm going away for a bit and will be returning with new works soon.  Meanwhile, if you are in NY, check this show out!  Our dear friend, Elana Hagler is part of the exhibition.  We love her as she is both an excellent artist, as well as a wholesome friend. Also a very quick shout out to all fathers out there -- Happy father's day!
