Recent stuff

I find myself struggling more and more between visual art and music these days. Both forms require so much time and focus it's morphing into more of a conundrum to try to compensate one over another. Life for artists is constantly figuring out how to keep a healthy balance between having a life and living a life, isn't it?

AMAZING GRACE

What an incredibly busy month September was!  Time escaped all of us in a nano flash!  It's good to return to the regular and the new--lots of laughter and challenges, holiday season etc/etc.
With music and teaching I find it almost difficult to keep up the sketching (excuses excuses excuses..) So here are a few moments of our lives...

Odd Nerdrum trail posponed due to illess

The criminal case against Odd Nerdrum is postponed indefinitely due to illness.

August 16th, Odd Nerdrum's lawyer Pål Berg told Dagbladet that the case has been postponed. The criminal case against Odd Nerdrum was due in the High Court on August 26th, but the artist is

reportedly sick.  When the case will be schedule again is uncertain at the moment, however it does not change the nature or the proceeding of the case.

Happy August! Lately I've been focusing on the other aspect of my career, that I haven't devoted enough time and effort in visual art.
So much has happened since Spring-- we gained new prospects of life and ached deeply for a loss of a dear brave soul...
Life is about constant forgiving and accepting, of others and of ourselves.  With good faith, unconditional love and a caring mind, life continues to evolve, as our journey opens up to a new adventure. 
 I'm also excited to meeting the new students; to get to know them as individuals with unique gifts and talents; to provide them as much knowledge and support as I could through the academic year.
It's going to be another great one, I can feel it!
