TORUNDOT SKETCHES FORM MEMORY

<*TURANDOT*> is an opera by Giacomo Puccini. The story of <*TURANDOT*> has been told in theaters for 82 years since its first premiere in 1926. Of all Puccini's famous opera,<*TURANDOT*> is the most unique, most dramatic as well as his final work-- Puccini died a year before completing the opera though he left behind sketches and draft compositions and the opera was finalized by an appointed composer.
People are not unfamiliar with
<*TURANDOT*>'s synopsis, it is love that always overcome fear and hatred. The death of Liu became a call for final awakening for princess Turandot as she realized the power of love had conquered her mind and soul. As her frozen heart thaws from tears of happiness, warmth and harmony were brought back to this ancient city of the East once again.
To me,
<*TURANDOT*> is a series of questions and tests in analyzing love. Love is not about ownership, nor can love be stopped by revenge. Love is when you wish the person you love to find happiness even if that destiny might not be you. Love is unselfish, people who love would sacrifice their life for it, not because they expect something in return but because they understand love. Love is an one way road, you will get lost if you think otherwise.
People who suffer a loss often take revengeful actions to try to get even over the loss. They would rather destroy it if they can't have it. In fact, they should be rejected forever unless they learn to love unselfishly.

My seating was up front and to the slight right, I was pretty lucky at purchasing tickets over phone or on line. For this opera it was well worth the money :) In the past I haven't had any bad expereince with seating excep when I miss a show and the theater refuses to exchange my tickets :( so make sure you keep up with the dates! And for those who are crying about not being taken to any events maybe it's time to pick up the phone and order the tickets for you and your friends!
