HOT!!!!

I found some class work from a couple of semesters ago. I remember getting really frustrated about my inking and compositions... :p. Well I still do now because comics is a lot more diffcult than many people thought.

Another week of figure drawing. We did not have much time for gesture drawings so everybody jumped right into 10 minutes drawings. I felt kind of rushed.

  1. First I'd like to say thank you for the update to your blog madame. I know I've got a lot of nerve demanding you do so because I'm so bad at it myself, but there you are.
Second, I have no idea what was going on with the blowfish, but I love that one. It just cracks me up. I also like the butts on the gorillas. You seem to have a thing for bulbous butts. Can't go wrong with bulbous butts.
Third, the drawings of Shawna are great as usual, especially the first one where she's lying down and the last one(s) where she has her back to us and seems to be picking at her toes. Yes, I know our graceful lady Shawna would NEVER do that, I just like to imagine her sitting there doing it as we draw her--kind of silly.
Thanks again for sharing your work!

  6. You know, despite the difficulty, you make it seem natural. Then again, this comes from someone who naturally is not all that artistic. ;)

I'm glad you updated your blog, too--your drawings are wonderful!
