Good place for dessert, one you wouldn't think of.

If you are in Philadelphia, you should pay a visit to the "Palm" restaurant on Broad and Chestnut street. I had never seen such----

---huge pieces of carrot and chocolate mousse cake before...It was really impressive. They are practically the size of a person's head. (Yes, I was being dirty:))

  2. Hahaha, I had the cartoon in mind when I saw the cakes. It's like a domino effect:
    dessert->creativity.
    I'm proud to have started it :D

  3. dessert->creativity->smutty innuendo. I'll take your dominos away if you're not careful, young lady. Heh heh.
    I like that painting you're working on at the moment. Good luck with it, Suni.

  5. Cliff, thanks, just fighting with the old habits, you know you're being too delicate with stuff when you are afraid of going back to it. The painting has been finished within two months in time for my school exhibition, so we will see :)
    bonequinhoda bic, actually, reading your comment is making me real hungry right now ;) Do you have some places that you know that serve enormous size dessert?

  6. Maybe, somewhere in Lisbon perhaps. But right now i can´t recall. Portuguese pastry is quite good truth be told.But there´s nothing like the French art of Pastry.
    I´ve had friends that went to Paris and told me stories about the pastries those guys have there that would make your mouth just water.DAMN !!!, now i´m hungry again :(

  7. French pastry....i'm having a nom nom moment, please excuse the watered key board. Cooking to me is a joy, there is nothing else better than to cook and share with your loved ones/friends some healthy and delicious snacks and meals. I like to use fresh ingredient,less processed the better. When I am really busy (like now :() Our manual adapts more veggie and less carbohydrates. It's a way to stay connected and feel the love, a very ancient secret.
    I don't bake much, at all :( opppps, sorry for all the blabs about "cooking", just love the catagory so much! :)
