*Diving, officially known as simulation, is the act of faking a foul or injury in soccer.
Its supporters call it strategy, its detractors call it cheap (and the players that practice it worse), but a soccer player is well served in knowing how to draw the referee's ire to the opposition.
I love soccer!! Back in middle school I was the class team gatekeeper (the only girl in school), well let's just say the job wasn't easy, while it was absolutely unforgettably fun! Now back to the topic: I think it is fair to say that every soccer player encounters diving or becomes a diver at some point of their career, it can exhibit the over all spirits of a team and whether they honer the true sportsmanship.
