Artist Odd Nerdrum has been recently granted a new trial in the Norwegian court. According to source familiar to the case, the Norwegian government indeed granted him a re-trail as the result of the effort of his appeal to the two year sentence. We can't predict the outcome yet but we hope to see him freed and moving on from the disruptions soon.Some inspiring paintings by Nerdrum. I often look at them as reference to my own work, they are just inspiring, on both subject matter and the application of techniques.
