It looks like you've got a really good handle on dark/light contrasts and how they apply to different features on the body. I especially like #3 & #5, I think they show the smoothest transitions.

I have this idea of doing a series oil portraits of the people I know at Stonegates. For people don't know about Stonegates, it is a retirement home that I work at. Anyways, I have asked 5 families so far, 2 rejections, 2 positives and 1 is still thinking. Of course I have already sketched some of them, lately the work has been very busy I don't usually get a chance to sit and sketch...And my bosses are assy...
